Only a short 30 Kilometer drive east of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of 2175 meters (7112 feet), Nagarkot provides a grandstand panorama of the Himalayas. The snowy peaks are magnificent at the sunrise and the sunset. Often visible are the Everest(8848 meters, 29,028 ft.)
